Literature Text

She stared up into the night,
Transfixed with the sound of lightning,
Thunder danced right through her,
A break in the darkness,
She pretended to sly into the light,
Where the moon awaited…
Lifting her into a field of fireflies…
Was this all in her mind?

A little girl left the door behind her,
A gasp from the house made her stop,
Gazing softly at the bruises…
Hiding under her,
Wishing for any sign,
Something better was waiting for her…
Beyond the wishes of her mind…

Please take her away,
Please tell her that she’ll be okay…
No more trying to flee the pain,
No more hiding…
Tell her that the sky awaits her dreams,
And the moon will help her there,
Tell her to run into my arms…
Tell her somebody cares….
This is just a poem, but though it holds deeper meanings, it's more to do with something sad I just watched, so yeah..

wow the last few lines of this one were pretty powerful. Well done I hope the person you wrote about notices that some people do care about her even if is just one person.
